Good Friday.
We Hit the rd at 8am, With the weather being not very nice at all, it was a slow drive to beaudesert where we were to meet everybody else. After meeting we hit the rd south of beaudesert and before long we were stopping as glen had some car troubles. Temporary fix and we are off again. We finally reach the river at about 1pm, which considering the rain and a few stops wasn’t a bad run.
We all set up camp and did so just before the rain started again. It rained pretty heavy and constant all night and we awoke on saturday morning with it still raining.
It was decided a drive was in order, to get the kids out of camp, Poncho, and to find some more campsites. Beautiful country around this area, and before long we were at the end on the rd.
Saturday arvo a few of the kids took the boats and inflatable rings and headed upstream, for the run back to camp. Clouty left us today and headed back home.
Sunday
What a great day, the rain had almost gone, still had some cloud but it started to clear. Today was spent on the river with plenty of driving upstream and floating back, big kids, small kids, 4 legged kids, we all had fun. Micheal and Fiona also left us today.
Monday. Pack up day. Great morning, everyone packed up and headed off at there own pace. We ( I) went for another swim after packing up then we hit the rd. Traffic was pretty full on all the way, as we knew it would be. Got home safe, another weekend spent with some great people. Some video of the week end also.
Remember to set the settings to 720 HD when watching. not sure why it defaults to 480 or whatever.
