Darlington Park 19th and 20th July

This weekend was a quick weekend away with the Myswag camper trailer forum. As my self and a mate organised it we had better go. Weather wasn’t nice on the friday, day of arrival. The wind was blowing and it was a bit icy. It settled down at night. We had a great weekend and met some great people.

A little bit about Darlington Park 1st

In the beautiful Kerry Valley, on the Albert River. Toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and shelters, sporting oval and swimming. BYO drinking water.  Onsite kiosk.

Pets to be restrained. On-site manager, Wildwood Park Management. Please book for school and public holidays.

The park is situated in the world-heritage listed Scenic Rim about 90km from Brisbane and 28km from Beaudesert on the Kerry Rd.

The river is more like a creek and ideal for youngsters. No showers – a dip in the creek will keep you clean. Please don’t use soap or detergent.

For those wanting a 4WD experience, a trip up the Duck Creek Road to O’Reilly’s will provide beautiful scenery and a chance to visit a world-class resort.

Directions: Take Kerry Rd at Beaudesert and follow the signs.
